Water Marbles

After having paint on my nails for a year, the quality of my mails went to shit! They were splitting long ways and side ways, breaking deep into the nail bed, they even had ripples in the surface! I had given them a year to be free, time to grow long and healthy again.

I finally sat down with a friend of mine to show her how to do water marble nail art. She was soooo tickled with the way they look, she even painted hers again.

In the pictures below: turquoise w/ green; me, green w/ brown; friend, blue w/ white; friend.

Yellow Dragons

Yay! My Sister finally got a nail stamp kit.  Of course, what is the first thing she paints? My favorite - Dragons! or what look like dragons to me, using plate # m21. Love IT!!!

Teal Tree

It had been a while since I painted my nails.  Kinda a mix between painters block and pneumonia. While at my Ma's house, I suddenly had the urge to paint... I copied the pattern off of an image I saw on Pinterest... I used Orly Balimos as the base coat and hand painted the white and stuck on a little bling.... although you can't quite see the jewels...

Plaid

My sister's plaid nails.

Happy Easter!

My sister wanted me to paint her nails for Easter when we got together over the weekend.  She saw a post on her FB friend's page which was a simple picture of green grass with Easter Eggs laying in the grass. It was such an awesome simple design that just had to be done.

I had done my nails before I went down for the weekend. I used my favorite polish & stamped a green flower icon with my cool stamp kit.

My sister had been plaid.

Dandelions!
